Shipping at the account level

Setting up shipping rules in your account allows you to quickly enable and disable physical shipping when creating new products.

In the Settings > Shipping navigation, you can set general shipping rules and rates for all of your products.

You first need to choose the location where you ship your items from. This defines your domestic shipping location.

Next, set the shipping zones and base rates for your products.

For example a merchant selling t-shirts from the US might choose to set their base shipping rates and zones as below;

You have now setup your shipping at the account level.

Shipping at the product level

Now when you add a new product you only need to enable shipping for that product. Choose where the product can be shipped, for how much the product will be shipped for as a single item or as a grouped item.
